In this blog, I am going to explore ideas about intelligence, rationality and how we choose. My belief at the outset is that simple explanations will not be adequate. I intend to ask as many hard questions as I can and encourage readers to add their questions and thoughts in comments.

I became interested in how we think and make decisions when I was studying economics. I have a long-term project to try to create a vision for a better, stronger economic system than the one we currently have. If you are interested in economics, you can take a look at some of the work I have done so far.

While I started thinking about this topic in terms of economics, I believe I am discovering valuable insights that can help many people in their day-to-day lives. My goal over the next year or so is to become a professional speaker on topics connected to “How we choose.”
